Samuel Kent, MBA, Chief Executive Officer
With over twenty years of experience in sales, business development and marketing leadership, Samuel Kent has successfully driven commercial success for a diverse portfolio of laboratory and clinical products and services. Prior to co-founding Astero Bio Corporation in 2018, he served in multiple executive, corporate and senior leadership roles at MedCision, BioCision, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Parker Hannifin. Mr. Kent graduated with his MBA from Colorado State University and his B.Sc from Northern Michigan University.

Brian Schryver, President and Chief Technology Officer
Brian Schryver’s life science tool and instrument developer career spans over 35 years. As a molecular biological research and development Scientist at Syntex, Mr. Schryver created innovative instruments to facilitate his research. His passion for invention carried forward during his work in preclinical development and biomarker research at SUGEN, and assay development at Corgentech. As co-founder of BioCision, in 2007, Mr. Schryver committed his full attention to developing innovative cold-chain instruments, and subsequently pioneered novel thawing technologies at MedCision. Mr Schryver has been awarded numerous patents and authored over 20 peer reviewed publications.

Tim Bush, Chief Financial Officer
Tim Bush is a seasoned Finance and Operations Executive with more than 30 years of experience providing structure and guidance to organizations to perform with operational efficiency. With over two decades working in the highly competitive disc drive industry, in the low margin contract manufacturing space, and with high technology companies, Mr. Bush took his leadership skills and operational savvy to startups in multiple industries. Mr. Bush holds a BS in Business Administration from Fresno State University and an MBA for Notre Dame de Namur University. He also is an Alumni of Stanford University Executive Education Program.
